Several months ago my 12 year old yellow lab Barkley passed away.  I raised him as a pup and he became my best friend over the years.  However, after he died, the only thing I had was his collar, some photos and lots of memories.  I then heard about behindthiscollar.comand knew that a  shadow box is exactly what I needed to provide fond memories of Barkley.  I was able to order a shadow box that included his collar, pictures, some memorabilia and a nameplate.

Barkley's shadow box now hangs in my office where I can see it everyday and remind me of the wonderful times we had!  Although he is dearly missed, he lives on with me through his shadow box.  Thank you behind this collar for providing me a wonderful memory of my best friend!

I am so pleased and excited with my new shadow box. Many people have expressed amazement and kind words to me. Among those that have are my veteranarian and the ladies at the library.  I am sure it will become an heirloom passed down to my children and grandchildren.

I received a custom shadow box for Christmas 2008.  The poet, M.B. King, had taken the personality of my puppy and turned it into poem form and described my boy perfectly! Combined with Moses' photo and some of his toys in miniature, the box was the perfect gift! I have 2 older dogs and am thinking of having custom boxes created for my husband. It's a great gift idea!

Hi Sherri, the shadow box you made for my Dusty was sooo touching.  I loved the toys you included, especially the turkey, since his favorite treat WAS turkey!  The poem that I wrote that you included was a little song we used to sing to him.  The whole shadow box is just so special, I can't thank you enough for the love and thought that went into it.  I have fond memories of my sweet kitty when I see it everyday.
